Open to all types and levels of experience. We want to see your walk, your vibe, and what makes you unique.

Models should aim for a clean, simple look that allows their natural features and walk to stand out.

• Fitted, Neutral Clothing: Wear relaxed (men) form-fitting (women) neutral-colored clothing like a simple black or white tank top, t-shirt, or bodysuit paired with fitted jeans or slim-fit pants. This applies to both men and women, as it allows casting directors to see your silhouette and movement without distractions.

• Minimal Makeup: Go for a natural look. Light foundation, minimal eye makeup, and a touch of lip balm or neutral lip color will work best. This allows casting directors and Makeup Artist to see your natural features.

• Clean Hairstyle: Hair should be neat and away from the face. If you have long hair, consider wearing it down but bring hair ties in case you’re asked to pull it back. Avoid elaborate hairstyles or heavy styling products. Hair will be styled/done for the show so this also allows for the stylist to see your hair type.

• Footwear: Bring a pair of heels (3-4 inches) for walking if you’re comfortable in them. This helps casting directors assess your walk and posture in heels. Also bring flat shoes, such as ballet flats or simple sneakers, for comfort.

• Accessories: Keep jewelry minimal or leave it out. The focus should be on you, not on accessories.

Singers, Dancers, & Spoken Word Artists (4-6 Spots Available)

Performers who can bring life, soul, and depth to the event. We’re looking for talent that can truly move the audience.

Photographers & Artists

Capture the energy and artistry of the event by submitting your portfolio for pre-show approval. Approved photographers will gain exclusive access to document the show, creating lasting memories through your unique perspective and professional lens. Additionally, artists of all mediums—including painting, sculpture, fabric art, and more—are invited to submit their work for display and sale at the pre-show. This is a unique opportunity to showcase and share your creations with an engaged audience.

Makeup Artists (MUA)

Join us for the casting call to test makeup looks, meet models, and collaborate on the vision for the show. We’re looking for creative and versatile MUAs to bring our vision to life.

12:00 PM – Check-In

12:30 PM – Meet & Greet

• Introduction to theknittingallery: Brand mission, vision, and upcoming fashion show details

• Team Introductions: Roles, responsibilities, and how each department supports the show

1:00 PM – Modeling & Talent Auditions

• Talent Showcase: Sing, dance, act, or any special skill

• Runway Auditions:

2:30 PM – Selection Process

• Deliberation and model selection

• Photoshoot for selected models:

  • Headshot

3:00 PM – DJ Showcase Auditions

• DJ applicants perform a short set

• Opportunity to highlight style, mixing skills, and vibe

4:00 PM – Final Session

• Feedback for participants not selected (encouragement + tips)

• Show expectations and next steps

• Completion of paperwork for selected participants

General Requirements

Who Should Apply: Designers interested in showcasing their collections.

Bring the Following:

• Portfolio of past work (digital or physical)

• Design concept description

• Availability for fittings and rehearsals

Designer Requirements for TKG Brand Shoot

If selected you will be featured in a photoshoot with TKG.

Details: An exclusive opportunity to showcase your designs alongside our fashion show.

Qualifications:

• Designers must be selected in advance and have all pieces ready for the event.

• Designs should be complete and ready for fitting and styling.

What We Will Provide

Models: Show models will be available for the shoot. Please ensure your pieces are prepared for styling.

Time Slots: Each designer will have a specific time slot for their shoot. Please arrive on time and fully prepared.

Location & Logistics: The shoot will be on-site. Please bring your own food, as we will be working on a tight schedule and you will not be able to leave. If you are not there for your time slot, you will not have time at the end to make it up.
